In pop icon Britney Spears’ request to end her conservatorship, one of the issues raised is her request to marry and have more children. As this is a family publication, I will use my words sparingly. According to the New York Law Journal, against her will she has received medical treatment that currently makes it impossible for her to have more children. Certainly, her father, or any conservator, taking away this right is a huge issue, not just for her but others who may be considered to have some disability. When do we as a society give that ability to a third party? Stay tuned to see how Hollywood makes new law.
